descarga el Java Media Framework  # download the Java Media Framework

http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jmf/2.1.1/download.html

instalalo como root en /usr/lib        #   Installing like root on /usr/lib

./jmf-2_1_1e-linux-i586.bin*

te va a crear el directorio JMF-2.1.1e en /usr/lib
it gonna make the folder JMF-2.1.1e on /usr/lib

1 descarga el torrent y baja los archivos del torrent.
1 download the torrent and download the files.

JavaLibs-freebsd.jar
JavaLibs-windows.jar
JavaLibs-linux.jar
JavaLibs-macos.jar
NativeLibs-windows.zip
NativeLibs-linux.zip
VidConf-libs.jar

2 copia el archivo vidconf-libs.jar a /usr/lib/java/lib
2 copy the VidConf-libs.jar to /usr/lib/java/lib

3 copia el archivo JavaLibs-linux.jar a /usr/lib/java/lib
3 copy JavaLibs-linux.jar to /usr/lib/java/lib

4 descomprime el archivo NativeLibs-linux.zip al directorio 
/usr/lib/JMF-2.1.1e/lib
4 unzip Nativelibs-linux.zip to /usr/lib/JMF-2.1.1e/lib

estos son los archivos q hay en Nativelibs_linux.zip
these are the files in Nativelibs_linux.zip

libjmcvid.so   libjmg723.so  libjmh263enc.so  libjmmpegv.so  libjmv4l.so
libjmdaud.so   libjmgsm.so   libjmjpeg.so     libjmmpx.so    libjmxlib.so
libjmfjawt.so  libjmh261.so  libjmmpa.so      libjmutil.so

luego corre el Mercury asegurate q este cerrado cuando hagas lo anterior.
corre el wizard y revisa q pase todo los pasos si esta todo OK te 
listara q camara quieres usar q resolucion y ya estaria si no me olvida 
nada pincha en finish y ya esta.

after to copy the files check it if Mercury is closed.
run the wizard and check if is pass all the test that the wizard show 
it, when all is all right follow the wizard choose the webcam, choose 
the resolution, etc. if all went good click FINISH.
