Organizado pela própria comunidade, a festa, que encerra o ano e abre o novo calendário dos jongueiros, reuniu mais de quatro mil pessoas entre as 12 horas do sábado até as 7h30 do domingo.</font></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"><font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">A comemoração superou a expectativa dos organizadores e, de acordo com Alessandra Ribeiro, líder do movimento, mais de quatro mil pessoas passaram pelo local, que teve um público constante de mil pessoas circulando pelos espaços como praça de alimentação, área de artesanato, salão do forró e ao redor da fogueira.</font></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px">“<font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">O Arraial é um dos maiores momentos da nossa comunidade porque marca o reencontro com o jongo. Fazer essa festa é uma forma de agradecer o ano que passou e dar início ao novo ano para a comunidade”, comentou Alessandra.</font></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"><font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">Ainda de acordo com ela, os pontos mais altos da comemoração foram as apresentações do grupo Aláfia de São Paulo, que levantou a galera durante a madrugada, do mestre Lumumba de São Luis do Paraitinga e da batucada de encerramento com a Bateria Alaclina que finalizou o evento.</font></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px">“<font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">Mas não posso deixar de ressaltar a apresentação do Jongo Dito Ribeiro que emocionou o público, levando muitas pessoas às lagrimas”, lembrou Alessandra.</font></p>

<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"><font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">Formado por um grupo de pessoas e familiares, o Jongo Dito Ribeiro recuperou a manifestação do Jongo em Campinas por meio da memória de Benedito Ribeiro, com o objetivo de compartilhar e dar continuidade a essa cultura ancestral.</font></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"><font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">A missão é reconstituir esse conhecimento nos mais diversos espaços, para todas as pessoas de diferentes credos, etnias e idades, priorizando as comunidades e grupos que atuam no universo da cultura afro-brasileira.</font></p>
<p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"> </p><p style="margin:0px 0px 0cm;padding:0px;line-height:16px"><font face="Verdana, sans-serif" style="margin:0px;padding:0px">O Arraial Jongo Dito Ribeiro teve início em 2004, na cidade de Campinas, e em 2009, foi inserido no calendário oficial do Estado de São Paulo, dada a sua importância e referência, por promover a divulgação da história afro em sua diversidade.</font></p>
