extrema importância. Deve ser uma luta de todos os artistas, produtores,
técnicos, gestores, enfim, de toda a sociedade brasileira. Ao longo da minha
vida, seja como artista, seja como homem público, sempre empunhei esta
bandeira. Da mesma forma, mantive postura inflexível na defesa da liberdade, da
democracia e dos movimentos populares.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: rgb(217, 217, 217) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; text-align: justify; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">É com tal espírito que a manifestação
convocada por segmentos artísticos de São Paulo foi encarada por mim e pela
Ministra Ana de Hollanda: os portões da Funarte foram mantidos abertos, a força
policial não foi convocada e, desde o primeiro momento, nos declaramos
dispostos ao diálogo.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: rgb(217, 217, 217) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; text-align: justify; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Os principais pontos expressos no
manifesto, como as PEC’s 150 e 236 e o Prêmio Teatro Brasileiro encontram-se em
discussão no Congresso Nacional. É importante que o debate extrapole os limites
dos artistas e fazedores de cultura e chegue aos mais amplos setores da
sociedade. Protestos legítimos auxiliam neste processo.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: rgb(217, 217, 217) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; text-align: justify; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Entretanto, quero ressaltar algumas
atitudes que não parecem coadunar com o espírito da luta comum dos artistas
brasileiros. Cerrar os portões da Funarte – com correntes e cadeados – ofende
nossa história de luta pela liberdade. Impedir o acesso de servidores públicos
– ou expulsá-los sob ameaça das dependências da Funarte – relembra momentos
terríveis de nosso passado não muito distante. Impedir que artistas, escolhidos
por processos públicos para ocupar as salas da Funarte, exerçam a sua profissão
não é aceitável sob nenhum aspecto. Impedir o andamento de Editais que estão
sendo julgados e que favorecerão a própria classe artística é atirar contra o
próprio pé. São fatos que, ao invés de atrair simpatizantes para a causa da
cultura, dividem e isolam os movimentos.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background: rgb(217, 217, 217) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; text-align: justify; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Reitero a ampla disposição para o diálogo
com os movimentos populares, conforme orientação da Presidenta Dilma, da
Ministra Ana de Hollanda, e de acordo com a minha própria história de vida. É o
único caminho possível para que a Cultura Brasileira seja finalmente colocada
no patamar que merece.<u></u><u></u></span></p>

da Biblioteca</i> reúne obras que encontram sua configuração ideal no livro, evidenciando
dois aspectos deste objeto: sua forma e seu conteúdo funcional. <br>

Os trabalhos apresentados levantam especificidades formais do livro, que não
deve ser visto como mero objeto, e sim como uma sequência de espaços, na
definição de Ulises Carrión. As obras aqui expostas exploram a espacialidade do
livro com a naturalidade de quem pertence ao universo criado por esse objeto,
que é ao mesmo tempo mundano e enigmático. <br>

Ao mesmo tempo que suporte e forma, o livro está presente nessas obras também
com suas diferentes funções dentro do nosso cotidiano, afinal, este é o objeto
usado pelas idéias como meio e veículo. <i>Além da Biblioteca</i> apresenta o
atlas geográfico, o álbum de figurinhas, o dicionário, a enciclopédia, o
romance, o caderno de desenho, o caderno de partitura, o livro de poesia, o
flip-chart, e por aí vai. <br>

Ao lançar um olhar sobre obras de arte que são livros, <i>Além da Biblioteca</i>
disponibiliza ao público um recorte significativo da produção de arte
contemporânea, respeitando as necessidades expositivas peculiares do livro de

Escola de Música Municipal; no CEPREVI as aulas de arte e cultura são voltadas
ao público com deficiência visual, utilizando da arte como meio de socialização
e bem estar dos deficientes, as oficinas com eles desenvolvidas são a de
música, e da arte em argila. O projeto hoje atende cerca de cem alunos. <u></u><u></u></span></p>
