 My contra-proposal explained with a case of use:
 a) If you are in a doc in toolFoo1, clicking in bar toolFoo1 send you to
 the root folder of that tool
 b) If you change/jump to another content of another tool say toolFoo2, and
 click again in toolFoo1, it brigs you to the last content you were working
 on that tool, if you click again, you go like a) to the root
 c) same, if you now clicks in toolFoo2 you jumps to the last content
 edited in toolFoo2, if you click again, you go to the root of toolFoo2

 Sounds good?
