PS. Correction
It's probably impossible to change links from frontpage as they are automatically generated
However links to peer reviewed articles from the jopp 8 issue page
http://peerproduction.net/issues/issue-8-feminism-and-unhacking-2/
... should lead to issue 8 peer reviewed articles page
http://peerproduction.net/issues/issue-8-feminism-and-unhacking-2/peer-reviewed-papers/
... which has the metadata NOT straight to the article page (same goes for links in release notice)
Hope this makes sense
cheers
mathieu

Hi Peter, all
I agree that it would be ideal to be able to access metadata from each article page. However as you say this would involve completely re-doing all of the peer reviewed articles link structure: a big job. Maybe if we raise money (as discussed occasionally) we could pay a web designer some hours to re-code on a test site? What do others think?
IN THE MEANTIME:
@Sophie, Shaowen and Lilly: congratulations on a really great issue. As said before, I am so sorry the release was delayed. But, now that it is up, we ned to tell the world. So, with that in mind, can you please advise:
1.do you have a short text to announce the JoPP feminism and (un)hacking issue release?
2.what are your plans re JoPP feminism and (un)hacking issue promotion: Vasilis has set up a pad (thanks) where email lists etc can be listed to avoid multiple posts and I have started to populate it:
http://etherpad2-p2plab.rhcloud.com/p/JoPP_Lists
3.finally, do you intend to modify the link structure as outlined below so that metadata (original subs, reviews, signals) are not bypassed from front page (or release announce)?
cheers,
Mathieu

Disagree slightly:
The structure of the issue is pretty similar to all the other issues (compare http://peerproduction.net/issues/issue-8-feminism-and-unhacking-2/ and http://peerproduction.net/issues/issue-0/) ... except that the titles ("Peer Reviewed Papers") are malformated and not linked (should be easy to fix).
I think, now that we're on top of getting the site back live, that we should change the article pages so they include a link to the meta-data per article
That would be much more straight forward and improve the journal as a whole, needs a bit of coding, though :(
/ Peter

Hi SSL
All the peer reviewed article titles from the frontpage link straight to the html version of the article
This bypasses the peer reviewed articles page where all the meta data (reviews etc) which makes us distinct are available
So all peer reviewed article titles should point to the correct page :
http://peerproduction.net/issues/issue-8-feminism-and-unhacking-2/peer-reviewed-papers/
Same thing for announcement
cheers
Mathieu
