Johan,

thank you for the introduction.

Dear all,

Needless to say that I am very glad to be part of this editorial board. In
addition to paper-reviewing, it would also be my pleasure to contribute by
co-editing future issues.

My research focuses on the political economy of open source technologies
and practices. The conjunction of peer production with desktop
manufacturing technologies as well as the transition scenarios for a
Commons-oriented society have been two of the central topics of my research
during the past few years. Most of my work can be found at
http://p2plab.gr/en/publications.

Since 2007 I have been a collaborator of the P2P Foundation, working
closely with several members of the JoPP's board. Moreover, I work as a
research fellow at the Tallinn University of Technology, and in 2013 the
P2P Lab was founded in Ioannina, Greece. More information about it as well
as an open call for visiting scholars can be found at http://p2plab.org/.

Hopefully this email is only the beginning of meaningful interactions and a
fruitful collaboration with all the existing JoPP members.

All the best,

Vasilis
