Ah, there it goes. I asked Frank on the IRC channel whether he had seen
my message, and about four hours after I posted it he said he hadn't, so
I sent it twice more, once through Gmane again and once by email. But it
looks like all three copies finally ended up reaching the list, so I
guess there was just a hiccup in the mailing list server (?).
