Now, I guess one week was enough of "speak now or forever hold your
peace" -- apparently nobody really cares, so:

That's OK, it should be trivial to do it semi-manually, thanks for

Well, only the meta-data you mention below can be changed, not the most
important thing, i.e. the address, which says it all (or rather nothing,
in our case). ;-) But I assume adjusting the meta-data to match that of
Gmane could be an improvement.

Please ditch this completely; I wanted to ask for its removal anyway --
it's no use and only takes away a lot of already-so-precious space in
the Subject: header. I doubt anyone uses it for anything -- you'd
normally manipulate your mail according to the occurence of the address
in From: or To:/Cc: headers.

Let's try it without encryption then.


So we're going to apply for a group

gmane.emacs.vim-emulation

with description

"Vim emulation in Emacs"

without e-mail address encryption.

There is also a "Project URL" field, which will be blank in our case, as
the list is not supposed to be limited to one project only.
