I am supervising a student who is working on a thesis examining the response indigenous communities of La Guajira have to green energy discourses in the media.

Can anyone suggest literature pertaining to investigations that revolve around how media constructs notions of development based on hegemonic economic activities/indicators? Additionally pointing to literature that details how communities construct multi-dimensional
views of development that challenge traditional development discourses would also be very helpful.

Thank you!
