*A multi-generational un/learning festival for re-imagining education
online and in-person near Vancouver, BC, "Canada" (*Semiahmoo Traditional
Territory)

We are bringing like-minded folks together who are active or interested in
self-directed education, nurturing diverse learning communities,
intercultural + intergenerational partnership, and regenerative living.

Welcome: *Friday, August 19 at 6 pm Pacific Time*
Departure: *Monday, August 22 at 11 am Pacific Time*

*Online -- *(Select Sessions *Aug 20 & 21*) – On Zoom

*WHO?*
Anyone of any age who is passionate about:

🧐 RECLAIMING JOY AND CURIOSITY IN LEARNING
🗺 ALTERNATIVES TO CONVENTIONAL SCHOOLING
✊ DECOLONISING EDUCATION
🤝 YOUTH LIBERATION + MULTIGENERATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
🌀 RE-IMAGINING LEARNING STRUCTURES, SYSTEMS, AND COMMUNITIES

The festival is fully participatory and open for all to engage as learners
and facilitators and will include scheduled and emergent sessions run by
and geared towards all ages. *Click here

🧑🏻‍💻 The event will be in-person and will feature some sessions online,
so even if you can't make it in person, do join us!

*WHY?*
In the face of multiple planetary and societal crises, we are moved to come
together with like-minded people of *all ages *to connect, co-create and
re-imagine ways of learning and unlearning together to foster peace and
wellness for ourselves, friends, families, communities and the lands we
live on. We dream of creating a regional (west coast of turtle island) web
of mutual support for youth-oriented, regenerative projects of all kinds,
planting seeds for more harmonious, creative, vibrant and
partnership-oriented communities for ourselves and generations to come.

Join a group of folks who are passionate about re-imagined learning spaces
that foster self-determination, un/learning in community, multigenerational
partnership, and regenerative living.  This initiative grows from a rich
community soil* of parents, coaches, educators, grandparents, and youth
that have been working towards transformation in education for over 40
years.

*TES is a non-profit organization focused on supporting learning
environments that are learner-centered, inquiry-based, collaborative, and
liberating. It is based on the traditional, unceded territory of the Coast
Salish peoples, also known as Vancouver, BC.
