On Alternative Regionalism:
"At a time when ASEAN dictators are turning democracies into
mediocracies; Now more than ever, we need to join forces with young people
from all over the region, leading the change by calling out lies and
demanding real equality, justice & human rights for all." - Emilie
Pradichit, Founder & Director of Manushya Foundation, Thailand

Alternative Regionalism as a new convergence space within the ASEAN Peoples
Forum, will continue the conversations, exchanges, and unities during the
workshop in 2019 on Alternative Regionalism which resulted in a “Resolution
on Alternative Regional Integration for Southeast Asian Peoples” which
called for “a new vision for engagement by civil society with ASEAN based
on people-to-people interactions rather than state-to-state relations or
purely market-oriented interactions” which “shall lead to the establishment
of a new peoples’ regional integration process.”

they innate in the mind? No. They come from social practice and from it
alone."
