<span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">I've been coming here for years and never have bothered to write review... so here goes.  If you have any interest in sausage AT ALL or are looking for TOP QUALITY FRESH BUTCHERED PORK... you need to get in here!!

Not only does Taylor's have  a phenomenal selection of fresh and smoked sausages, they have fresh ground pork, bulk country sausage, ribs, butts, roasts, hocks, sausage casings, chops, and more. And the sausages aren't all pork- there's beef links, chicken and turkey as well.. and one thing you can get here that YOU CANNOT GET ANYWHERE ELSE in the Bay Area??  REAL BOUDIN!! A perfect blend of pork, liver, rice, seasonings and available in both mild and spicy. 

But it doesn't stop at the quality of the product, the prices are quite reasonable and the service is EXCELLENT.  From the owner on down through everyone on staff you're treated like one of the family and made to feel at home.

Only negative?  Closed on Sundays and not open very late on Saturdays... but I will guarantee you, it's worth the drive to get there.  For me, it's a 53 mile round trip and I STILL go! If there's something special you want, consider giving them a call ahead and asking them to set it aside for you... but they're a small business so don't stiff them if you do this!!

In addition to the boudin, a real treat if you can get them are the "little pigs" link breakfast sausages... these are in REAL short supply and I don't know what it is about them, but the flavor is fantastic.  When I can get them, I usually but 2-3 pounds and what doesn't get eaten the next day, I partially cook, stick em in the freezer and then finish em in the microwave.fa136e57392093479095a5a40f033715
