switch things up a lot because the menu we saw there was different. I love that they use local farms for their food. This is a great place to bring co-workers or a date. The service is wonderful. Thank you, Laura. I had a bison patty melt which was one of the specials for lunch. I was initially worried because I associate melt with overwhelming cheese; however, they maintained a proper balance of meat and cheese with caramelized onions. Miscellaneous notes: There is also extra parking in another area. There is adequate space between the seating, so it does not seem crowded to where you could be accidentally eavesdropping. They have comfortable leather booths. The unknown: I will need to try their beers and cocktails. They do have a significant number of taps and a row of bar seats that is tucked away from the dining area. Don't expect to watch your favorite game on a giant screen though. There are only two tvs about 32" from afar. Went here for brunch a few weeks ago and forgot to write about it. Ordered the eggs creole and sent it back. I forgot about my cardinal rule for cajun food. Only order it when you are in the state of Louisiana, at a restaurant outside Louisiana owned by a cajun or at my cajun friend's homes... and never make an exception to that rule. Now that I got that out of the way, let's move on. My second order was much more successful. Had the Badass Bacon Waffles and added chicken. So delicious. The combination of all of the flavors, especially the goat cheese made for a wonderful meal. Sadly I forget what my friend ordered, but she absolutely loved it. There was a wait, so we actually sat at the bar, which I'm normally not a fan of, but we managed to grab a spot at the end and had a nice meal as if we were at our own table. Definitely recommend trying this place out. meddlesome moth say what?!?! why have I not visited you sooner? Made reservations (through yelp by the way what what), came in with a friend and we were given a spacious booth which was really nice. The ambience is pretty sweet, no doubt. Nicely lit, a bar area with a full bar including a large draft beer selection to one side, with the main dining area on the other half, with an exposed kitchen toward the back. I hear they have a pretty sweet patio area but I wasn't able to see, plus it was pretty cold the night I went. Regardless, the place makes a really good first impression when you come in. Ordered their Heirloom Tomato Burrata (their take on caprese salad), Bacon Lollipops, Roasted Quail, and the Classic Mussels. Overall everything was really tasty, our waitress was really nice and gave us suggestions on the menu items. The heirloom tomato dish was really good; a cool take on the standard caprese salad, instead of basil leaves drizzled with olive oil, it came with drizzled pesto, all on top of a nice assortment of heirloom tomatoes and a fresh hunk of cheese.
