Besides, who doesn't love a fairy tale with a drunken goat?) That girl had a very magical kitchen, the likes of which would create such magic potions for consumption such a crispy pig's face or turning a sweet bunny rabbit into a beautifully presented and heavily consumed dish ordered twice over. One night, six very lucky diners joined together on the ever-so-elusive triple date to experience such concoctions, having heard of this curly haired girl and her drunken goat. Lucky for those diners, they learned the lesson of sharing long ago, and were able to try nearly everything on the menu. The highlights included the lemony green beans, the crispy pigs face (when combined with the arugula and daikon, it was like heavenly fried fat...a good thing in this fairy land), the rabbit rilette, quietly contained in a rice paper and topped with a sweet gingery giardinare, yet packing such a marvelous sweet and succulent punch, and the lamb ribs that fell off the bone. The usually self-contained
diners nearly came to blows over the crumbs of the ham frites or its luscious swiss cheese dipping sauce, a potion so magical, that the diners decided that it could transform even a common rock into something to be savored. Desserts were the only slight disappointment to the diners, as they really only enjoyed the goat cheese bavaroise which was comparable to a tangy and tart cheesecake made with goat cheese, but the coffee was served via French Press, which is the only thing that can logically accompany a bavaroise. The girl's servants knew the menu like the palms of their hands, having the marvelous ability to rattle off ingredients and their preparation with no real thought and to star the best beers for their diner's delights. That evening, those six diners were able to visit the magical kingdom of Stephanie Izard, that curly-haired girl, and it was truly a fairy tale of meals...and they all will live happily ever after. (But really, it's not the end. I believe this is the fabu
lous beginning for a gorgeous restaurant with marvelous food.) Goats, Goats, Everywhere! Goats, Goats are in my hair! Ok, they may not
