First time and it won't be the last time. I walked up to the truck yard area hearing guys yelling, little that I knew it was where I was gonna be eating lol! It's a bright red fire truck lookin trailer with basically character and sassy written all over it. I sure did dish a good lip back while calling out my order literally! Make sure you call you order out loud he likes it that way and when he asks what I wanted to drink I said your mom hahaha!! I had a blast and definitely walked away half alive after eating the monte cristo! This was our first Austin food truck experience and I was quite impressed. The staff was super nice and made sure we were aware how long our orders would take. Once we received our orders they even described in detail what we were receiving. Great service for a good truck! The food was also great. I ordered the famous monte cristo and my husband got the Texas mesquite turkey sandwich. I have to say my hubby's turkey sandwich was amazing. The fried green tomat
oes made the sandwich. The monte cristo was one of the best I had but it was a bit heavy for me. All in all, it was great. Wish I had tried the BLT. It looked amazing! Will definitely be returning on my next stop to Austin. My wife and I have been meaning to come to this place forever, but we're always walking by after having eaten at the Torchy's on South 1st or the South Congress Cafe or something else. Today, we decided that we were just going to make it happen and we took a detour from a small walk around Lady Bird Lake. I'd actually suggest adding a walk to you visit here just because it helps work off some of the heft of the sandwiches.
