Dinosaur, I had the combination with St. Louis Ribs (3 ribs), pulled BBQ pork, and BBQ brisket with a side of BBQ beans and mac & cheese (without the Cajun seasoning because I hate spicy mac and cheese). ??Out of the 3 meats, the ribs stood out the most IMO. ??Underneath the crust of each rib was the ever-desirable pink "smoke ring" . ??The ribs had a great crunch on the outside and inside was juicy meat. ??The pulled pork and brisket were also good, though I feel that most of the flavor was due to the BBQ sauce. ??I must say the sauce is very good. ?? As for the sides, I would eat both again in the future. The food earned 4 stars, however I would given them 3.5 stars considering the inattentive service. ??Our server passed us a number of times without checking in when we needed refills of our drinks. I'm not one to head down to Newark for an evening but Dinosaur Bar-B-Que has made it into my family's rotation. We've found our favorites on the food and drink menu. Our go-tos include the Dino Mary, hot wings, salmon fritters and black eye pea salad. The bartenders are dead on. The service is darn good. There's a manager there though... He treats his employees like they're subhuman insubordinates and in efforts to accommodate he seems more than

there on Sunday, Mother's Day and I could not have been more pleased. ??We had 4 PM reservations and it was a good thing we had reservations. ??The place was jumping. ??We were seated in bar area in a booth which had great ??clean windows looking out on Plaza. I ordered the ribs and chicken platter with sides of mac and cheese and greens. The ribs were perfect....I left the bones squeaky clean...the meat came off that easily! ??They were so good with just the dry rub and smoke that I did not use any sauce. ??The chicken was tender and best of all juicy.....so many times bbq'd chicken is dried out, especially if it is cooked in bulk. ??The sides were very good. ??The one disappointment in sides was an order of slaw.....the slaw was not bad but $3.00 for barely a 1/3 of a cup is a little steep. ?? ??Another companion ordered the salad wedge and was given a limp wedge of iceburg that should have had some of the leaves removed...a few cherry tomatoes and a little plastic cup of some dressing....$3.00-not worth it. My hubby had pulled pork and although the meat was flavorful, he was a little disappointed in the big chunks of meat....he is used to pork that is shredded with two forks....however, the taste was there....More ribs were eaten by others in our party and one person ordered the original burger that was so big it had to be cut in half and brought home for another meal. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and service (Thank you Devonne). ??The manager checked in on us a couple of times and we were just so pleased with everything. Went for a business lunch. ??Love the menu. ??Had two Dino Ales on draft. ??Food was exceptional. ??I had a Memphis pulled pork bar-be-que sandwich. ??Came with cole slaw just like when I lived in Charlotte. ??Sandwich was great and fries were perfect. ??My Guest had the ribs. ??He really seemed to enjoy them. ??Very generous portions for the price--great value. ??Menu is great if you like meat. ??Have a great selection of bar-be-que and grilled food. ??Lots of sides that are fitting. ??One side that I wish they would add is fried okra. ??This has a great saloon environment. ??Being located near the Center, it is set up for a pre- and post Hockey game crowd. ??But is also great for business since it is near the Gateway Center. As an avid fan of Triple D, I regularly find myself jealous of Guy when he visits these amazing BBQ places around the country. ??I envy him not only because he gets to sample their food, but also because there seems to be a lack of quality BBQ restaurants in NJ. ??At
