purchasing a cute little Snooze t-shirt. We were smart and arrived before 9 a.m. on this particular Saturday. We had about a five minute wait. When we left, the wait was much more substantial- so try to be an early bird if you get annoyed by restaurant waits and the like. The servers are really easy on the eyes. However shallow that seems, there is something about being surrounded by pretty little hipsters that does it for me. Mimosas. Holy goodness. I ended up ordering the mmm...mmm...mimosa (yes, that is the name of it) and it was delicious. A pomegranate twist on the traditional brunch beverage. We started with the pancake flight as an appetizer (I know, who gets an appetizer at breakfast?!). We were hesitant to choose what to get so our server took care of the thinking for us- funky monkey, pineapple upside down and sweet potato. Delicious. Immediately after, I ended up texting my friend who has a major sweet tooth that we would have to plan a trip to Denver just so she could try out the pancake flight. Pineapple upside down was my personal favorite. For my actual meal, I ended up ordering the spuds deluxe- hash browns covered in cheese, a choice of two veggies (spinach and tomato in my case) and then I added some egg whites to top it all off. It wasn't mind blowing, but I did enjoy it. I think I would've switched one of my veggies for some jalapenos in retrospect Our server was amazing (not just because he was smokin' hot). He was able to keep up my banter and even threw in a "that's what she said" joke after someone at our table said something ridiculous. I was {not so slowly} falling in love with him. Snooze rocks. I just wish they'd set up shop in PHX so I could enjoy it more often. I finally got to try this place thanks to Tiffany hooking us up with a reservation here last weekend and avoiding the 2 hour wait! I must say, I was pretty hype up for this place. Brunch is one of my favorite meals and I rarely ever get to enjoy it. The ambiance is cute, bright, and welcoming. There was hot coffee available for the people that have to endure the long waits. The waitress brought us out a sampling of the apple pancake, and somehow the plate rested more on my side of the table so I got more than a few bites to try. I ended up going with the sweet potato pancakes with a side of hash browns. The pancakes were delish, but didn't really taste much like sweet potatoes to me. Either way, they were still amazing, with the sweet butter and pecans on top. I probably should have done what Nick did and ordered a la carte so that I could have tried more things. One pancake serving is MORE than enough (one takes up the entire plate!) and there was no way I could finish the
