it is those very reviews we all read to that allow me to make my decision. With that being said, I gave this little blender of hope 5 stars because it is simply amazing. I bought it because I needed to make smoothies with it and because I am a college student, I was a on a budget. I was afraid that I would not get what I wanted because it was so inexpensive, but with free two-day shipping from prime, I was sold. One of 6189708483872303288 blades has bent already though (probably from a frozen banana) so when I'm ready to replace this, I probably will go with an upgraded model. I'd recommend this if you want to mostly blend non-frozen stuff--works great on fresh fruits with milk and yogurt, for example--ra6189708483872303288r than frozen stuff.
