en el nuevo podes ejecutarlo poniendo el path de las librerias a /root/lib:
# pwd
/root/bin
# LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/root/lib ./ginga --version

de todas formas no es el ginga-ar el que trae.
ni bien llego pruebo nuevamente una app a ver si anda, pero estoy seguro de 
haberlo hecho  y no funcionaba.
