[Ginga-argentina] Primeros pasos

Hola Gente

Me tomé unos días para instalar el entorno de desarrollo, por un lado instalé el plugin para eclipse  y por el otro lado virtuabox con Kubuntu_Ginga. Mi PC tiene Windows XP.

Fue todo casi perfecto hasta que quise ejecutar el primer ejemplo "Hola Mundo". El error que me surgió es uno que ya fue comentado en la lista, algo similar a:

Aclaro que de linux se muy poco. La forma de ejecutar esto era:  abría  una terminal presionando <ctrl><alt><F1>. Me logueaba con el usuario virtualbox y ejecutaba el comando:

    ginga --ncl /path/archivo.ncl

De esta forma me tiraba el error que copié arriba.

Luego lo que hice es desde el entorno grafico, botón inicio (o como se llame en kubuntu) > Applications > System > Terminal. Y ejecutaba el mismo comando que en la opción 1 en este caso funcionó perfectamente. Debe haber una explicación lógica desde el punto de vista de linux pero como no se mucho le dejo la explicación a algún capo que seguramente anda dando vuelta por estos pagos.

Aclaro que tuve que configurar la máxima virtual con 512 MB de memoria base sino cuando tenía 256 Mb y quería ejecutar los ejemplos en el modo gráfico me tira el siguiente error

Después termine asociando los arhcivo .ncl al comando ginga --ncl y fuciona perfecto. Cuento mi experiencia por si a alguno mas se encuentra con estos errores.
