He hasn't reacted this way to a restaurant since Sezmu (which I am still mourning... May 7, 2016: 2:00....Yesterday's late lunch was a very pleasant experience. The service was great, the kitchen got our food to us in record amount of time... Delish!!!! My husband had the infamous Pork chop! It was everything we heard and more! The garlic ..mashed potatoes were the bomb! I had the Ny steak with... I am almost always disappointed with pizza to the point of thinking I had given up in trying any place new. So we did not rush to try SWHP thinking this too... Strange to find the best Mexican food in Nevada at such a remote town as Virginia City. Authentic, delicious, human size (not elephant size) portions. Was working in Sparks for the week and made a pit stop here for lunch after a recommendation to try it out. I wish there was one
of these close to home I... What a great meal!! ..Sure crawfish takes a lot of work but then all good things do. ..We had the garlic butter Gold fish. ..Tasteeeeeee!!..Definitely will be back. I was so impressed by the food and service the last time I was here, after I returned to Reno from my Easter weekend in the Bay Area, I just had to give it... Setting: 75 degree day, just got out of the movies and my wife and I both hungry. I had a hankering for fish and chips so we headed over to Great Basin... Spent a few days out in the wilds of Elko visiting family. I had not been out this way in a really long time and I have to admit, Elko has come a long way... We stopped in early-ish on New Years Eve without a reservation and were able to be seated immediately. We had a few appetizers which were very good but... We LOVED this place! Traveling across Nevada is never a really fun experience, but stopping at the Star Hotel will certainly improve anyone's road... Thanks to my fellow Yelpe
rs...I was looking for good reviews for food near my hotel, and this place came up. It was a short walk, and totally worth it. From... Wow... just wow!..We were driving back to the PNW from Phoenix and happened to (luckily) choose this little gem as our dinner for the first night. I thought... Winner winner chicken dinner!....Wow. Round 2 of this small town Chinese restaurant. And once again, I'm so impressed! Marina and George (the owners) are so... Mustang burger is very good, I recommend the tobasco chips and the onion rings too. The place is pretty smoky so I took my food to go. Unpretentious, quality, Mexican food. Anybody who says otherwise is a Bay Area snob. Very fresh chips, and relatively healthy tacos.....Minus one star, for... My favorite place in Elko, so far. Pure accident that I wondered in, very happy I did. Bowling alley, Lagunitas, I found no reason to leave. $12.50 for...9549dbf862c447863ff8b30265d6eb44
