5 años durante los que hemos desarrollado miles de actividades abiertas a la ciudadanía, apoyándonos y siendo apoyados por cientos de entidades sociales, colectivos e iniciativas de todo el Estado y, mucho más importante, por miles de personas. Entre todas hemos intentado construir, en estos más de 7 años de vida, un espacio común, un centro polivalente autogestionado: un espacio que quería ser <strong>infraestructura para la ciudadanía organizada</strong>, un sujeto político que, cooperando con otros y otras, contribuyera a la transformación de la ciudad y una retaguardia donde poder encontrarnos, cuidarnos, un espacio de ocio diferente en la ciudad, una casa para todas nosotras.</span></span></span></p>

Hemos iniciamos varias líneas de trabajo para defender el Patio, la jurídica, y la política. En esta última llevamos meses señalando al Ayuntamiento y exigiéndole que cumpla su obligación: reconocer la labor del Patio y dejarnos ser. Pero el ayuntamiento de Madrid ha decidido guardar silencio, tan sólo diciendo que en su Madrid no hay espacio para un proyecto como este.</span></span></span></p>

Es normal que un <strong>Ayuntamiento</strong> que vende vivienda pública a fondos buitre no esté dispuesto a tolerar un proyecto que combate la especulación urbanística y llena de vida los espacios vacíos destinados a la especulación. Es de esperar que si el Ayuntamiento se dedica a recortar los presupuestos de cultura, no consienta que haya espacios como el Patio con una agenda propia de cultura y ocio de acceso gratuito. Proyectos como el Patio Maravillas chocan de lleno con un Ayuntamiento que funciona como una Mafia y que entiende Madrid como su parque de negocios particular con el que enriquecer a sus amigotes. Los de la Gürtel y la Púnica no entienden que haya espacios de la ciudad donde la economía social, el aprendizaje colectivo, la defensa de los derechos y la participación sean el motor fundamental para la convivencia de cientos de personas.</span></span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;margin: 1em 0;padding: 0;-ms-text-size-adjust: 100%;-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;color: #606060;font-family: Helvetica;font-size: 15px;line-height: 150%;"><span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif">Por esto, el próximo día <strong>5 de Enero</strong> queremos dejar claro que el Patio no se cierra, que <strong>defender el Patio</strong> es construir un Madrid para su gente, una ciudad donde tener una vida que merezca la pena ser vivida. Ante la falta de democracia nos van a tener en la calle, en los plenos, en los medios de comunicación, en las redes y en todas partes. Es una cuestión de supervivencia democrática y social.</span></span></span></p>
<span style="color:#000000"><span style="font-size:18px"><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif">Sabemos que nos quieren en soledad, pero nos van a tener en común. Por eso invitamos a la ciudadanía a <strong>manifestarse</strong> el próximo <strong>5 de Enero a las 19h</strong> para defender el edificio de Pez 21, el Patio Maravillas y la ciudad que soñamos y construímos:<strong> Madrid.</strong></span></span></span><br>
