<span style="color:#000000;">En los medios de comunicación se suele responsabilizar al endeudamiento público de la actual crisis financiera (la llamada crisis de deuda soberana).<br>
<br>
<span style="line-height: 140%; ">Nos dicen constantemente que "hemos vivido por encima de nuestras posibilidades", que “no podemos permitirnos el actual nivel de gasto público”, que las prestaciones actuales del llamado Estado de bienestar están “más allá de nuestras posibilidades”. En definitiva: hay que recortar.</span><br>

<span style="line-height: 140%; ">Pero esto es falso. Si miramos los datos del Tesoro Público o el Banco de España veremos de forma clara que el sobreendeudamiento es fundamentalmente de origen privado y no público. A finales de 2012, el 77% de la deuda total de la economía española (3.992.431mill de €) había sido generada por agentes privados: empresas, bancos y hogares, mientras que únicamente el 23% restante (1.174.227 mill de €) era deuda adquirida por las diferentes administraciones públicas.</span></span></div>

<span style="color:#c20e1a;">Pero ¿Cuándo y por qué se adquiere esta deuda?</span></h4>

<span style="color:#000000;">El origen de la enorme deuda privada se debe en gran medida a la burbuja inmobiliaria, es decir, a la especulación. Tras el estallido de la crisis, las arcas públicas acudieron en ayuda de la banca que no podía responder a sus pagos (aunque no fue lo mismo para las familias y las pequeñas y medianas empresas).</span><br>
<br>
<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 140%; ">Y así, la deuda pública ha aumentado un 135% desde el 2008. En el año 2012 hemos superado el billón de euros por primera vez. Y no porque hayamos gastado por encima de nuestras posibilidades...si no porque empezamos a asumir las deudas del sector privado (bancos).</span><br>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 140%; ">Estamos viviendo un proceso de “socialización” de las pérdidas del sector privado como si esas pérdidas fueran nuestras y rescatando a la banca a cambio de lastrar a las Administraciones Públicas con descomunales compromisos para el futuro (Avales, Compra de activos tóxicos, MEDE, Banco Malo...)</span><br>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); line-height: 140%; ">¿Acaso cuando la banca ganaba dinero lo repartía con nosotros/as?</span></div>
