We eat here a couple times a month and very rarely have we had a bad experience.....PROS:..-Great, cheap Mexican... One of the few great places to eat in Martinsville. Awesome wraps and salads! The staff is sweet and attentive. Had lunch here and it was reasonably priced and hi quality food. Had chicken parm and it was delicious!....Service was courteous and attentive as... My wife got a shrimp dish with bacon, it was out of this world and I got a combination that came on 2 plates! we ended up taking over a plates worth home.... I give the Checkered Pig four stars based on the whole experience. I have had much better BBQ before, but the food here is a great price for what you get.... an old fashioned Diner type restaurant with excellent weekday lunch specials.
