<span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">We are so glad that we have this wonderful, little cafe in our little town. Not only is the food superb but the owners and staff welcome you like family!... Took my daughter to visit the painted hills and hike the ochoco forest. Spent the night in the oregon hotel (awesome) loved this little town, woke up before... What a find!....Living in Portland, I'm pretty spoiled when it comes to tasty breakfast/brunch options. I was fairly certain this place would be comparable to... Best place to eat in John Day or Grant County.  Be sure to call ahead. ....The sides are large and echo the midwest (boring 3-stars at best) but the steak is... So when the local ranchers are here. Including the one who needs food for fuel to dig out his tractor, you know you are in the right place.  Amazing... I will keep it simple...THE BEST Bacon Cheeseburger Ive ever had! (and Ive had many)  The Bacon Corn Chowder was the bomb too! .
