The service was great, the kitchen got our food to us in record amount of time... Delish!!!! My husband had the infamous Pork chop! It was everything we heard and more! The garlic ..mashed potatoes were the bomb! I had the Ny steak with... I am almost always disappointed with pizza to the point of thinking I had given up in trying any place new. So we did not rush to try SWHP thinking this too... Strange to find the best Mexican food in Nevada at such a remote town as Virginia City. Authentic, delicious, human size (not elephant size) portions. Was working in Sparks for the week and made a pit stop here for lunch after a recommendation to try it out. I wish there was one of these close to home I... W
e decided to come back here after having not been here for a long time. ....When we first came in, we were the only one's there but the place quickly filled... I was so impressed by the food and service the last time I was here, after I returned to Reno from my Easter weekend in the Bay Area, I just had to give it... Setting: 75 degree day, just got out of the movies and my wife and I both hungry. I had a hankering for fish and chips so we headed over to Great Basin... What a totally enjoyable dinner. Wait staff was perfect. The steak , a filet, was perfect. Dessert was perfect. The cocktails were perfect. Do the locals... Just went there to celebrate some good news with some special friends and everything about the evening was perfect. Great, friendly service, loved... New Years Eve '15 and the fare was superb as usual. Around the table we had clam chowder, crispy lemon thyme day boat cod, and the house salad with Boucher... I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! This place truly is as
good as it gets.....The fast casual thing is super in right now and I love it. I totally love it! We... This place is fantastic, and for being in WRJ, is a diamond in the rough. And the only real restaurant game in town. ....My boyfriend and I decided to try... First of all, to call this place a restaurant is an injustice. It's an experience. ....We arrived just before our reservation time, hung our coats and were... My partner and I come here for brunch on weekends. The food is amazing!....I typically get a cup of the cheddar soup and for my entree I usually get the... Fabulous Thanksgiving meal. Went to the buffet. Over 800 people where coming to this place for dinner today. Many many choices, all the traditional foods.... Stopped in last minute on a busy Saturday night without a reservation.
