<DIV align=left><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=#000000 size=3>A diario miles de niñas de todo el mundo son agredidas de camino a la escuela o cuando están en ella. Algunas sufren amenazas de agresión sexual de otros estudiantes, hay profesores que ofrecen notas más altas a cambio de favores sexuales, e incluso son violadas en la escuela.<BR><BR>En Estados Unidos, el 83 por ciento de las estudiantes de 12 a 16 años han sufrido acoso sexual. En Sudáfrica, una tercera parte de las violaciones de niñas ha sido cometida por profesores. En Tanzania, 14.000 niñas fueron expulsadas en los últimos años por quedarse embarazadas. En Jamaica, Togo, Nicaragua, Haití o México, el acoso sexual está generalizado en la escuela.<BR><BR></FONT><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=#000000 size=3>El resultado es que innumerables niñas no llegan a ir a la escuela o abandonan sus estudios.</FONT><BR><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=#000000 size=3><BR>Con motivo del 8 de marzo, Día Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora, Amnistía Internacional hace un llamamiento mundial para poner fin a la violencia contra las niñas en las escuelas. <A href="http://info.es.amnesty.org/c/r?EMID=09901JU0BFSGU02EC4U656401U9KL8N" target=_blank>¡Actúa!</A><BR><BR>De todo corazón, gracias por no permitirlo,<BR><BR></FONT></DIV>
