So we begin a new year. New plans, new directions. I'm up for a meeting to discuss the new life of the community wood project. I am happy to do it at mine if that's ok with everyone . I will even lay on the nibbles and there are many guinesses left over . Maybe next weekend? Avery Sent from my iPhone

Sent: Sun, Nov 10, 2013 7:43:05 PM I've just set up a mail list to make the job of sending messages to everyone involved with the CTP. I've been aware that at times people have been getting missed out from mails and hopefully this should solve the problem + if things get busy each of you can choose to get daily digest mails (all emails in one day compiled into one email) or if you get bored you can unsubscribe yourself. Currently I've got the following people subscribed - Jes Avery Abbie Del Spence Lenny Duncan and myself. I think most of you know each other - possibly Spence is a bit of an enigma to a few of you. He's a friend of Averys and came along to a meeting which was also attended by Avery, Jess and myself. If there is anyone else you think should be subscribed let me know and I can add them. Personally I'm up for having this list fairly open -adding anyone who is interested in the project and says they want to receive list mails. What does everyone else think? (I ask this because I can think of a few people who it would be good to add but think we should agree on some kind of policy for this.....) If you reply to this mail then your reply will go to the list of people above + anyone else who has been added.... Knowle wood and website

Yes I'd agree trying to figure something out for Knowle Wood would be good. To get in there doing stuff would be amazing. I went up with Avery last Tuesday to see Nick demonstrate the Logasol wood mill and met Nick the owner but we decided it was best not to discuss things with him rather than Howie???? (sorry I forget your friends name) I'm away for a month or so but I guess we could try to move things forward by email??? I discussed with Avery the possibility of building a structure there that we could use for green woodworking or other stuff. Following that conversation I was thinking it might be good to make any structure we built very portable so that it would be moved to another site. I'm not entirely clear on what ideas/possibilities there are for us on the site. Anyone? Oh yeah the website is now at communitytreeproject.org.uk Best D On 08/11/13 12:33, Duncan Armstrong wrote: > First class my friend. > Much appreciated efforts! > > Could do with a group chat to discuss working at knowle wood. > > Duncan Armstrong > Aspen Tree Care > 07789 557787 > 01273 479058 > > On 8 Nov 2013, at 11:39, Darren <mail(a)vegburner.co.uk> wrote: > >> We've now got a (very) draft website and operational email. >> >> Website is currently at >> >> https://network23.org/communitytreeproject/ >> >> but will eventually be at communitytreeproject.org.uk >> >> I've also set up a contact email - office(a)communitytreeproject.org.uk >> >> Currently I've set this up so that any emails sent to that address are forwarded to everyone if anyone wants to be excluded from this email forwarding let me know and I'll stop them coming to you. >>

I'm not sure about the logo... the roots are a bit scary. I remember you saying that Lenny had drawn one you both liked - is this it? Oh yeah just thought about adding Colin to the mail list... anyone else????
