I only really know Rob who started the group. Lovely chap I met at Sieben Linden Ecovillage in Germany. He lives in Ireland where he is from. I think he had a bit of inheritance and was thinking about buying land in Ecuador, not sure of his current plans/ situation. He got suspended from his Roman Catholic school when he was younger for becoming a 'Guddhisst' - the idea being that people choice whichever bits of any religion they like - think is 'good' - and just follow that. Half his class converted, apparently :P

Saw it on facebook, sounds wonderful :)

Know some people who've been thinking of investing in land in Ecuador, so perhaps interests could converge...

a copy of a short notice I sent to the p2p fb group in ecuador:

dear friends, you will hear more from this ... I am returning from the Garden of Paradise, near Vilcabamba, the valley of long life in Loja province, Ecaudor ... I have seen the future of the physicalisation of the peer foundation, at least one form of it. I met Norie Hurdle and her partner Richard Wheeler. The place is magic and full of potential. So, I have been thinking about the creation of a p2p eco-lab to test open sustainable technologies, to do seminars, retreats, publishing and multimedia activities. It will probably start with me going there for three months in the spring each year.
