THANKS Dante, interesting: The Society of the Night is a form of "Festivalist" self-organization of people living at night, using the same urban infrastructure as "The Society of the Spectacle" living during the day. It is a parallel society, with its own festivalist economy. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Dante-Gabryell Monson <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 7:47 AM Subject: "The Society of the Night" To: http://sharewiki.org/en/The_Society_of_the_Night -- P2P Foundation: http://p2pfoundation.net - http://blog.p2pfoundation.net Connect: http://p2pfoundation.ning.com; Discuss: http://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/p2p-foundation Updates: http://del.icio.us/mbauwens; http://friendfeed.com/mbauwens; http://twitter.com/mbauwens; http://www.facebook.com/mbauwens Commons Strategies Group, http://www.commonsstrategies.org/
Feel free to add ideas to it - its a draft. I guess such "parallel society of the night" has been existing for a long time, perhaps under some other names, but somehow I do not find specific references to it , yet, except in certain tales such as "Vampires"... If you know some more, feel free to add them. I am happy to further create and build such concepts collaboratively. On Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 5:26 AM, Michel Bauwens <[email protected]>wrote:

it's an interesting TAZ .... it has potential if the real night community takes it up ... time to get a gothic hairdo perhaps? On Tue, Feb 15, 2011 at 10:25 PM, Dante-Gabryell Monson < [email protected]> wrote:
