Please see the English translation of the The Constitutional Bill here <http://stjornarskrarfelagid.is/english/constitutional-bill/> (http://stjornarskrarfelagid.is/english/constitutional-bill/) The Constitutional Society would also like to draw your attention to an independent English translation of the extremely controversial decision of the Supreme court of Iceland to invalidate the election to the Constitutional Assembly held on 27 November 2010 and, also, an independent translation of a newspaper article on the matter, written by a mathematician and associate professor at the University of Iceland, Reynir Axelsson. Professor Axelsson’s article attracted by far the most widespread attention of the numerous articles and editorials criticising the decision of the Supreme Court. The easiest way to understand the dispute is to begin by reading his article. Please see professor Axelsson‘s article and the decision of the Supreme court of Iceland here <http://stjornarskrarfelagid.is/english/election-ruling/> (http://stjornarskrarfelagid.is/english/election-ruling/) Best regards, on behalf of The Constitutional Society, Geir Gudmundsson About The Constitutional Society The Constitutional Society was founded in the summer of 2010. Its objective is to support the drafting of a new Constitution by the people of Iceland, to be put to a referendum. Its mission is to gather and disseminate ideas and information on constitutional matters. The Constitutional Society takes no position regarding what should or should not be included in a new constitution for Iceland. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk57V5EACgkQ9cJSn8kDvvHOVgCgnAKCLo/tdX2uF2vCGIm+NE// 6FwAoOVx6KwazAncOUGWcorRX8n5nG3Y =2KN4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
