Now that Biden is president-elect, the need for an organized Christian left is more urgent than ever. Christians invested in protecting and deepening democracy cannot replace the work of politics with moralizing denunciations or platitudes of opposition and prophetic critique. We cannot settle for pleas to the powerful to reconsider their attitudes when what is so desperately needed is a mass movement to dispossess the powerful. Additionally, we're announcing some exciting ICS initiatives for 2021 that will provide concrete ways to help Christians and churches organize. *Read our statement * <https://gmail.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9fbb79dbb151fbeff3094bb1e&id=9bf35532e0&e=2849718e2f> [image: Twitter] <https://gmail.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9fbb79dbb151fbeff3094bb1e&id=37d9f1d5ca&e=2849718e2f> [image: Facebook] <https://gmail.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9fbb79dbb151fbeff3094bb1e&id=63544bca63&e=2849718e2f> [image: Website] <https://gmail.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=9fbb79dbb151fbeff3094bb1e&id=7d1252b218&e=2849718e2f> Want to change how you receive these emails?
