Readers:

International Journal of the Commons has just published its February issue at:

http://www.thecommonsjournal.org/index.php/ijc.

You will find among other things find a first selection of articles pertaining to a special feature dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Elinor Ostrom's Governing the Commons (the second part will be published in August, 2011).

Also, we draw your attention to a special feature on the radio spectrum - a commons created by technology.

In another research article, Huong and Berkes explore the diversity of resource use and property rights in Tam Giang Lagoon, Vietnam.

The new IJC issue contains four reviews of books that we think may interest our readers.

We invite you to visit our web site to review articles and items of interest.

As of now, Erling Berge has retired as editor-in-Chief. His contribution to the foundation and development of the journal has been of pivotal importance. He will be replaced by Michael Schoon of Arizona State University.

Thanks for the continuing interest in our work,

Frank van Laerhoven, Utrecht University Erling Berge, Norwegian University of Life Sciences Editors-in-Chief _____________________________________________ Yours sincerely, Frank van Laerhoven Michael Schoon Editors-in-Chief, International Journal of the Commons http://www.thecommonsjournal.org/
