Peer-to-peer infrastructures are becoming the general conditions for work, economy, and society.
A new book by the @p2p foundation, titled “Network Society and Future Scenarios for a Collaborative Economy”, aims to contribute to the dialogue for post-capitalist construction, and discuss how another world is possible. “We’re building the world we want, within the confines of the world we want to transcend” say the authors, “considering peer production as a social advancement within capitalism but with various post-capitalistic aspects in need of protection, enforcement, stimulation and connection with progressive social movements.”
