I am forwarding you great work done by a Greek group of volunteers regarding the terrible image portrayed of the Greeks in Europe and specially in Germany.

This is an email specifically addressed to our German colleagues to HELP spread, share, publish... the Alex video available now in German (also in English for those who want to spread it elsewhere).

Greek people are having a tough time these days – especially in German media! With the coverage of the ongoing debt crisis talks, stereotypes in Germany of Greeks as ungrateful, corrupt, lazy etc. have never been stronger.

So we present to you... the GERMAN version of our short animated video “Alex”, which attacks negative stereotypes of Greeks!

Let’s balance the debate in Germany about Greek people once and for all :)

Kurzes Animationsvideo gegen negative Stereotypen, die die Griechen angreifen

Wir sind Omikron Project, eine Gruppe von Volontären aus Griechenland, die mit Produktionen, die nicht erzählte Geschichte der Griechenlandkrise, darstellt.

Heute veröffentlichen wir die deutsche Version unseres kurzen Animationsvideos "Alex" , die die Stereotypen über die Griechen so faul , korrupt etc. attackiert. Das Video wurde von ARTE TV  übersetzt und ausgestrahlt, und ist jetzt online zu sehen.
