MISSION POSSIBLE!
Sow Courage; Reap a New World
This book is a tell-all story of a new
movement - MISSION - Movement of Imaginals for
Sustainable Societies Through Initiatives, Organizing,
and Networking. MISSION is energizing Filipinos from all
walks of life in many parts of the country to truly
serve the
Philippines and
the world through a startling, innovative and effective
approach to change. It illustrates how such a feat is
possible amidst all the hindrances in life. Moreover, it
makes the case for how, from empowered individuals with
a real sense of their own truth and from
collectives of such individuals, new
institutions, new societies, new worlds will arise.
Nicanor Perlas is a recipient of, among others,
the Alternative Nobel Prize and The Outstanding Filipino
Award and is the author of more than 500 articles,
monographs, and books on creating a better world. He is a
global resource person and speaker on integral sustainable
development. Recently, in his most recent book, Storm
Before the Calm, Neale Donald Walsch, whose books
have sold in the millions, cites Perlas' societal
threefolding work and MISSION as essential to the
"creation of humanity's New Cultural Story", a story
essential to the future of humanity.
