Ron Paul suggested this approach re US Debt months ago. It was picked up (positively) by Yves on Naked Capitalism & a major (quality )magazine.

Of course, it disappeared with no further mention due to media and academic dismissal of all things RP. Please resurrect this plan within

the context of your Euro efforts. Taxpayers don’t need to pay interest on debt they owe themselves.
