This thread is to discuss the development of the blended open space event COMMONS TRANSITION FIESTA

This would be an all day event in nov/dec/jan in the CBD of Melb. It would be blended open space so that there are many spaces for people to work on individual project and connect, but also sessions that bring larger groups together to build common strategy and coherence. We need strategic coherence too! It would be an easy to organise event, no catering and room for 40-70 people, for example at ross house. tickets would be cheap - $10-15.

So the basic idea is a simple, easy to run open space event that also builds coherence and group strategy, over one day, that brings together local commoners to build good vibes and solidarity and coordination and bring in new blood.
