Hello Everyone,

Several groups (Indignados and other groups reclaiming real EU democracy) have started walking towards Brussels. They will be arriving in the EU capital city on October 8th and a week of actions will follow to end with a big demo on the October 15th, on the side of the EU Summit.

If you wonder what the hell is wrong with the EU, you can start with this excellent report: http://www.greenpeace.org/raw/content/eu-unit/press-centre/reports/a-captive-commission-5-11-09.pdf

If you wanna follow and take part in this great citizen initiative:

Website:
- Very handy where most of the updates on the Walk to Brussels are collected: http://www.scoop.it/t/the-marches-to-brussels (for instance the March will arrive in Paris on September 17th)
- and this one for the German and Dutch communities: http://www.marchtobrussels.eu/mapandroute.html

Twitter hashtags:
- #walktobrussels
- #marchabruselas

Facebook:
- Marcha Bruselas: http://www.facebook.com/15mMarchaBruselas
- 15 October #globaldemocracy event: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=217223788318602

With pleasure to welcome you in Bxl!

Bruno
