Dear friends
I’d like to invite you to a major conference on radical reforms of the banking system to be held on 29th September 2011 in Winchester and organised by the Centre for Sustainable Banking at the University of Southampton.
nef will be launching a major new guide to the monetary system at the conference and holding a session on local banking. Adair Turner, Chairman of the Financial Services Authority, and Charles Goodhart, Emeritus Professor of Economics at the LSE, are keynote speakers along with Professor Richard Werner and nef.
The conference is both academic and public, with the public session opening at 3pm for which there is free entry. Winchester is a 1 hour train journey from Waterloo Station in London. Please see the attached flyer for further information. You can get tickets by contacting:
Jo Hazell at J.L.Hazell@soton.ac.uk
or telephone 023 8059 4858

Warm regards
