hi guys, still on the road ...

I'm a bit agnostic on Ning, which is not really used a lot ... I have used it mainly for announcements that are too 'formal' for the regular blog, and to give a boost to some initiatives ...

what I like about Ning is the integration of different services ... any open alternative is fine for me, but as usual, if no gardener comes forward, it will remain a rather passive tool ..

There is a nice Mediawiki plugin for elgg that allows to render page
contents in elgg and display user's page in dashboard and other stuff.

Yeap, I am already using some of its addons in a elgg 1.8 implementation.

I think this need more discussion and hands to reach a stage where we
can define a deadline. I think is 2012 thing because of P2PF have other
web priorities now.

I think we need more voices here, mainly from Michel, Chris and others
using the actual Ning. I am not familiar with it.

Yeah, something like that. I reffered to your interest and availability
to help to move this forward in case we agree to do it.
