Social philosopher, political economist and poet Rajani Kanth, affiliate of Harvard University, will discuss his new book, "Farewell to Modernism: On Human Devolution in the Twenty-First Century" (NY. Peter Lang, 2017), exploring modernist ideas shared by both Left and Right that have distorted the way we live and view the world.
Neither philosophy nor social science, Kanth argues, can help us break out of a painful 400-year program without a true appreciation for the real anthropological essence of the human species that has been hidden from us by modernist theorizing.
