Prueba wodim como root y como usuario normal. De este modo: wodim -v -speed=8 12 13-02-09-es.iso dev=/dev/scd0 No cambies sotf, aún. Me sigue dando la idea ea que es de permisos. Y otra cosa es el cd regrabable o sólo virgen?

No cambies sotf, aún. Me sigue dando la idea ea que es de permisos.

Es que nadie diría que falla, aparentemente todo va como la seda, incluidos los leds de la unidad, y sin embargo, al final... se puede ver que no ha conseguido grabar nada...

He utilizado CD-R verbatim para todas las pruebas. También podria probarlo con DVD-R, a ver qué tal.
También buscando por ahí he encontrado gente con Dell 6400 que también sufren problemas con esta unidad.

Si, aparentemente va todo bien. Se podía probar con otra marca de cd, si. Pero tambien puede ser que haya algo extraño en la comunicación del dispositivo como scsi, no se, probar como dispositivo hdc, tal vez. O que el grbador no grabe bien en cds y sólo grabe dvd ¿?.
