[Musix-usuarios] Soundfont Steinway IMIS 2, creado con Musix y Swami, hoy domingo
Hola Tapani Räikkönen: De paso, estoy probando el nuevo kernel 2.6.21.5-rt18 y anda mejor que ningún otro, sobre todo porque en modo live-cd andan los parches realtime, no sólo la habilitación normal, y algunas cosas más, como el parámetro toram y tohd uname -a Linux musix1.0R2b1 2.6.21.5-rt18 #2 SMP PREEMPT RT Fri Jun 29 19:55:08 EEST 2007 i686 GNU/Linux Yes, it works just fine: as good as the former kernel, I was testing it today under heavy load: many apps opened, and Rosegarden+swami+qsynth, and sometimes the JACK server makes the known strange noise, but this is because a bug into the SB Live drivers (Lee Revell told me [from alsa-users]) I was making a Steinway piano soundfont: I sweared to make it a year ago or so, for the freepats project and for myself: a really GOOD sound piano!!! And we are making it, a member of freepats started it some months ago, and I continued his work, listen: http://www.musix.org.ar/tmp/swami/steinway_imis_2_layers2007-07-01T.ogg Does it sounds nice? It needs a lot of more work yet. The samples can be found at: http://freepats.opensrc.org/samples/imis/Piano/ The soundfont will be uploaded when it could be better, or just tonight :) To: http://www.musix.org.ar/tmp/swami/ Best wishes -- `&' # Marcos Guglielmetti, co-director de # Musix GNU+Linux, 100% Software Libre para artistas _#_ http://www.musix.org.ar (#) / O \ + archivos: ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix ( === ) Ecología: http://autosus.wordpress.com `---' Personal: http://marcospcmusica.wordpress.com You see things; and you say 'Why?'; But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?' - George Bernard Shaw -- `&' # Marcos Guglielmetti, co-director de # Musix GNU+Linux, 100% Software Libre para artistas _#_ http://www.musix.org.ar (#) / O \ + archivos: ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix ( === ) Ecología: http://autosus.wordpress.com `---' Personal: http://marcospcmusica.wordpress.com You see things; and you say 'Why?'; But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?' - George Bernard Shaw
