Well, kcontrol lists my resolution at 1024x768 and my refresh at 101hz. However, the monitor reports it's at 60hz and it flickers. monitor? CRT or TFT? have you made dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg (previously make a backup of /etc/xorg.conf ;)
