Hello again i tried to install my echo mia "snd-mia" but i think musix 0.26 doesn't include these drivers. how do i get them?

It's true: try downloading and installing 2.6.13-1-multimedia-386 (i can see it here in another Musix system installed on hd: /mnt/hdb5/lib/modules/2.6.13-1-multimedia-386/updates/alsa/pci/echoaudio/snd-mia.ko ) There is some explanations about this subject into the Musix's manual, i think: if not, just tell us. 1) Install Musix on HD 2) Download the new packages If you have Internet under Musix: apt-get update Well, you can search another kernel: apt-cache search kernel-image | grep multimedia 3) Install the new kernel: apt-get install kernel-image-2.6.13-1-multimedia-386 kernel-headers-2.6.13-1-multimedia-386 alsa-modules-2.6.13-1-multimedia-386 _end ------- o --------- Or, you can download them from: http://apt.agnula.org/demudi/pool/main/demudi/i386/kernel-headers-2.6.13-1-m... http://apt.agnula.org/demudi/pool/main/demudi/i386/kernel-headers-2.6.13-1-m... http://apt.agnula.org/demudi/pool/main/demudi/i386/kernel-image-2.6.13-1-mul... http://apt.agnula.org/demudi/pool/main/demudi/i386/alsa-modules-2.6.13-1-mul... Then dpkg -i *.deb do you know how to do it? cheers, -- Marcos Guglielmetti *Desempleado, busco empleo estable.* http://www.pc-musica.com.ar/Curriculum-Marcos-Guglielmetti.html fecha: mié sep 28 02:10:02 CEST 2005 ___________________________________________________________ 1GB gratis, Antivirus y Antispam Correo Yahoo!, el mejor correo web del mundo http://correo.yahoo.com.ar
