Yes you can, just install it from Debian/etch (Musix is allready pointing to debian/etch) Type as root into a konsole: apt-get update apt-get install libfreebob0 | do i need any other software for this to work. That's my question too The package info says: Description: FreeBoB API FreeBoB is a Linux driver for BeBoB devices. BeBoB devices are audio breakout boxes attached with IEEE1394 links (a.k.a FireWire or iLink). . The FreeBob library permits discovering and configuring BeBoB devices. . This package holds the shared library. Tag: role::shared-lib Maybe you must reconfigure alsa after de installation: Type: alsaconf Our jackd version is freebob enabled, I think: 0.101.1-2 I am mailing this to the debian's mantainer of libfreebob0: Maintainer: Marcio Roberto Teixeira <[email protected]> Thanks in advance Regards, | _________________________________________________________________ | MSN is giving away a trip to Vegas to see Elton John.  Enter to win today. | http://msnconcertcontest.com?icid-nceltontagline | | | _______________________________________________ | Musix GNU+Linux - www.musix.org.ar | Musix-users mailing list | [email protected] | https://lists.ourproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/musix-users -- Marcos Guglielmetti * Director del desarrollo de Musix GNU+Linux, 100% Software Libre * Colabora: http://www.musix.org.ar/wiki/index.php/Musix1.0tasks * CD Download: (http://www.musix.org.ar/en/) * Videos, programas, etc.: ftp://musix.ourproject.org/pub/musix/ * Reporte de errores: https://www.musix.org.ar/wiki/index.php?title=Problemas-Bugs *IRC: #musix channel on freenode * http://autosus.wordpress.com/ «No te tomes en serio nada que no te haga reír» [un amigo de E.
