Marcos, Thanks for the help so far. I tried failsafe and that allowed it to boot up into the GUI. It looks good! If I could just get the network connection going, I'd give it a good try on HD install.. I was surprised to see the sound came right up and worked. That's been a problem at times with other distros. I've been using PCLinuxOS, but it seems to freeze up my system sometimes.
