VIVIENDAS DEL IVIMA EN EL ENSANCHE SUR.
11-12-08. La Junta de Gobierno Local de Alcorcón ha aprobado la primera licencia de construcción de 140 viviendas del IVIMA (Instituto de la Vivienda de Madrid) en régimen del Alquiler en el Ensanche Sur.
Supondrá una inversión de 21 millones de euros en iniciativas de vivienda pública y creación de 500 puestos de trabajo.
La Junta de Gobierno del Ayuntamiento de Alcorcón ha aprobado lo que supone la primera licencia de construcción de un total de casi 1.100 viviendas públicas en régimen de alquiler del IVIMA que irán incluidas en el Ensanche Sur y que supondrá una inversión de 11,2 millones de euros,y que ocuparán una superficie de más de 17.000 metros cuadrados.

ESCUELAS "MAGO DE OZ" Y "CAMPANILLA".
08-12-08.- La CAM amplía la oferta educativa de Alcorcón con 263 plazas con dos nuevos centros para niños de 0 a 3 años.
La CAM aportará 330.000 euros para financiar los gastos de funcionamiento de 2008-2009. La región contará con 398 escuelas infantiles antes de que finalice el curso y ofertará 36.029 plazas.
La Comunidad de Madrid amplía la oferta educativa de Alcorcón con dos nuevas escuelas infantiles Campanilla y Mago de Oz, que ofertarán un total de 263 nuevas plazas para niños de 0 a 3 años. Ambas escuelas han sido construidas por el Ayuntamiento, y la Comunidad de Madrid aportará para este curso 329.952 euros para la financiación de los gastos de funcionamiento de ambos centros de titularidad municipal.
