Time to translate Kune
Hi there: It's time to translate Kune to other languages. We were resolving some issues with non western languages: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WAVE-187 https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WAVE-246 so we are now ready. Kune is translated only to Spanish, currently. To participate, you should sign in in our demo and be member of the demo group (if you are not, just join it): http://kune.beta.iepala.es/#demo and open the translator: Options > Help with the translation See the shortcuts to speed up the process. It's something fast. In any moment you can check how your translation goes in kune reloading the page. If you detect some problem with non western language (for instance if you are translation to Cyrillic or Arabic), please add an issue: http://kune.ourproject.org/issues/ and we'll try to fix ASAP. When finished, please write to me or to the list, and I'll add you to the credits. Bests, and thank you indeed, -- Vicente
I would like to add... It would be something very needed, so contributors that know languages different than English and Spanish are very welcome! On Tue, Oct 25, 2011 at 13:43, Vicente J. Ruiz Jurado <[email protected]>wrote:

I started to translate into french, using my login. Can you see my french translations? I get a (somewhat scary) warning saying that only authorized translators can do this... not sure if my work has been saved. Thanks for confirming! -- Bastien

No, it's not saving it... because you are not member of group "demo". But now you are a member, so if you didn't close your browser (and the kune demo tab), just try to: - dont' change the language of the translator - move between the things you translated adding a space and removing it, so the translator will try to save again (and now will save for real without the warning). I have to make the warning more scary ... or simple not show even the translator... Thanks indeed, Vicente

I did close my browser :/

I will have another go this week. Thanks for the info! -- Bastien
